Criminal Law 201: Wrongful Convictions | Prof. David Sonenshein | One-Day Law School for Journalists 2023
This session included a presentation conducted by David Sonenshein, Professor Emeritus at Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, on causes of wrongful convictions, including false confessions, erroneous eyewitness identifications, unscientific forensics, dishonest jailhouse informants, and ineffective assistance of counsel.
This was one of seven presentations during PMC's One-Day Law School for Journalists on July 18, 2023. One-Day Law School for Journalists supports journalists and others in the media who face the challenge of covering the courts without a law degree.
