Protect and Elect: Saying No to Judicial Districts

PROTECT&ELECT is hosting a public education ZOOM program on a constitutional amendment that could  create regional districts for our statewide judiciary courts. Fair Districts PA and Pennsylvanians  for Modern Courts will be represented at this event. Deborah Gross, President & CEO of Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts, and Fair Districts PA speaker Andrew Davies will demonstrate how popular bipartisan legislation to end gerrymandering has thus far been blocked by unfair procedural rules while a vote on partisan legislation to create judicial districts for our high courts is threatening to erode the independence of our judicial system. Both will provide suggestions for how individuals and groups can advocate for change.
