PMC Shares Workshop: Small Claims Court | Philadelphia | Central Senior Services - Free Library of Philadelphia

Small Claims

The first level of Pennsylvania's Judicial System is the minor courts, also known as the people's court, presided over by Magisterial and Municipal Court Judges. The people's court is a court where individuals can resolve small disputes typically involving smaller amounts of money or property. In this presentation, attendees will hear directly from Magisterial District Judges on the specific work they do, what warrants taking legal action, with what you should come to court to be prepared, and the expectations inside a courtroom.

This workshop will be hosted by Central Senior Services at The Free Library of Philadelphia.
