It is PMC’s hope that Pennsylvania’s judges, no matter how selected, abide by the rules governing judicial conduct (The Code of Judicial Conduct), act impartially, adhere to governing ethics rules and obey the law. At times, unfortunately, some judges fall short of this ideal.

What Does the Judicial Discipline Process Address?

The Judicial Conduct Board is not the place to challenge or argue about judicial decisions you disagree with or are dissatisfied with. The Judicial Conduct Board addresses allegations of judicial misconduct or wrongdoing – not allegations of judicial error. The difference is important.

How to File a Complaint Against a Lawyer

If you have complaints about the conduct of a lawyer, even a lawyer for another party in litigation, there is a resolution process. The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania oversees the attorney discipline process through the Disciplinary Board, http://www.padisciplinaryboard.org. The Disciplinary Board hears complaints of serious misconduct by lawyers.
