Are you curious about the crucial role that judges play in our communities and how the upcoming elections could shape the future of our justice system? If so, join us on Thursday, May 4 at 8:30 AM ET as we explore the issues at stake and provide valuable insights on judicial candidates. We’re honored to have the following speakers:

Hon. Judge Patricia McInerney spent 23-years as a judge in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, presiding over high-profile cases and serving as supervising judge of the Commerce Court in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, a specialized civil program, handling business-to-business disputes. Before taking the bench, Judge McInerney worked as a public defender and then as a civil litigator. She is currently a mediator for JAMS (Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services).

Deborah Gross is President and CEO of Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts, a nonpartisan nonprofit, which advocates for fairness, accessibility and respect in the courts by educating the public about how courts function and the importance of the judiciary, and its independence. Previously, she was a litigator, the Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association, an adjunct professor at Villanova Law School and the President of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation.

During this breakfast briefing, we will closely look at the issues related to the upcoming elections and the evaluation process for candidates. We will discuss how candidates should be evaluated, what qualifications are important and what role the Bar Association plays in the process.

Christine Jacobs, Executive Director of Represent PA, will moderate this briefing.

We hope you'll join us. Invite your friends and neighbors to join you by sharing this RSVP, it only takes a minute!
